Powerful Latest Innovations
Dynamic Marketing Lists
Introduced self‑updating, rule‑based marketing lists that stay in sync with your data.
Saved segments that maintain themselves – build Dynamic Marketing Lists using the same filters as All Contacts (practice area, region, engagement, preferences, etc.); as contact data changes, membership updates automatically.
Preference‑driven lists out of the box – for every select/multi‑select Marketing Preference, Nexl provides a corresponding Preference List (a special Dynamic List) so “opted into X” audiences stay accurate without manual maintenance.
Clear “rules, not manual edits” model – you can’t add/remove single contacts directly; instead you adjust the filters or update contact data, and the list follows the new rules immediately.
Live audiences for EMS campaigns – when scheduling a campaign, Nexl checks your dynamic list rules at that moment, applies normal marketing exclusions, and sends to whoever matches right then.
With Dynamic Marketing Lists is available in beta in this release and you get always‑current, preference‑aware audiences for campaigns with far less manual list wrangling and fewer targeting mistakes. Learn more about Dynamic Marketing Lists here

Marketing Preference Manager for Admins
Introduced a self‑service Preference Manager so Admins can manage marketing preferences and their preference lists.
Create and manage marketing preferences in Admin Settings – add new preference fields, choose text/single/multi‑select, set display position, and configure option choices (with colours and ordering) without needing Nexl CS.
Auto‑linked Dynamic Marketing Lists for each option – every select/multi‑select option (e.g. “Tech”, “Finance”) automatically creates a Preference List (a special Dynamic Marketing List) that stays in sync as contacts opt in or out.
Full lifecycle control: edit and archive – rename preferences and options, reorder them, toggle A–Z sorting, and archive preferences that are no longer used; archived preferences disappear from the UI while their lists remain but stop auto‑updating.
Direct visibility into linked lists – each option row shows its Preference List with a clickable link, so Admins can quickly inspect list membership and how preferences are feeding campaign audiences.
You can get end‑to‑end, self‑service control over subscription topics and their underlying Preference Lists, click here to learn more about this update
Email Marketing Campaign Permissions
Granular control over who can view, edit, and lock EMS campaigns.
Four clear permission types – create campaigns, edit campaigns, lock rows, and lock modules, so you have full control on campaign creation and editing
Rows vs modules managed independently – rows control layout/structure, modules control content inside; locking can apply to either or both, unlocking granular edit control on campaigns
Template locks inherit into campaigns – content you lock on a template (e.g. legal footers) arrives pre‑locked in every new campaign, so restricted users can’t change it.
Users can lock down brand and legal content at the template level while still letting editors work freely within clearly defined, enforceable guardrails. Click here to learn more about Campaign Permissions
Phone Number Types
Introduced ability to add labels on every phone number and ability to call directly from Nexl using the Browser or via Teams
Typed phone numbers instead of a flat list – each number can now be given a label (e.g. Mobile, Home, Company Direct, Company Main, Assistant, Toll Free, Fax), so you always know what kind of number you’re looking at.
Call directly from Nexl - easily call from Nexl via the Browser or via MS Teams in case your firm has MS Teams enabled
Consistent experience across Web and Outlook – the same types show up in contact details, company contacts tables, sync previews and the Outlook add‑in, and are mapped into the right Outlook fields (Mobile vs Business vs Home) during sync.
Import, export and enrichment-aware – imports can include both number and type, exports preserve the labels for round‑tripping, and existing/enriched numbers are kept with types left blank when unknown so users can label them later.

Opportunities Updates
Introduced self‑service control over Opportunity fields, statuses and form behaviour.
Manage Opportunity fields in Admin – create, edit and delete custom Opportunity fields directly in the webapp, without raising support tickets.
Self‑serve custom statuses – add and manage your Opportunity statuses on the front end so stages reflect your firm’s real pipelines, without raising support tickets.
Control field ordering on the form – reorder standard and custom fields on the Opportunity form so the layout matches how your teams work.
Mark fields as required on the form – choose which fields are required when users create or edit Opportunities; enforcement happens on the form only, keeping API and future AI‑driven creation unblocked.
Aligned Outlook experience – the Outlook add‑in respects your Opportunity form configuration, including field ordering and required‑field rules.
