Advanced Views are a powerful enhancement for exploring Contacts, Companies, and Opportunities with richer filters, customizable layouts, and improved performance. This guide will help you get started and make the most of Advanced Views.

1. Accessing Advanced Views

There are two ways to access an Advanced view. You can either turn existing All Contacts/Companies/Opportunities to view in Advanced view mode or you can create a new Advanced view.

1.1 Converting All Contacts/Companies/Opportunities to view in Advanced view mode

  • Go to “All Contacts” and switch on “Advanced View”.

  • Configure filters and layout as needed.

By default, the toggle for Advanced View persists per user. Once it's turned on, in subsequent visits to All Contacts or other pages, the setting will be remembered. If you wish to switch it off, you can do so anytime.

1.2 Creating an Advanced View

  • Go to All Contacts/Companies/Opportunities and then click “+ New View” → “Advanced View”.

  • Name your view (e.g., Test View).

  • Configure filters and layout as needed.

  • Changes to Advanced view filters, search and column states will be automatically saved

2. Filtering Capabilities

2.1 Unified, Expanded Filters

Advanced Views provide a consistent filtering experience across Contacts, Companies, and Opportunities, with over 25 new filters.

Contacts Filters:

  • Primary Email, Phone Numbers, LinkedIn URL, Bounced Status

  • Number of interactions/Meetings/Emails

  • Last Interaction/Meeting/Sent/Received Email at

  • Education Institution, Key Activity Date, Company ID, Group ID, Engagement Status

Companies Filters:

  • Primary Domain, Contacts Count, Archived At, Created/Updated At

  • LinkedIn URL, Website, External Client/Group ID

Opportunities Filters:

  • Received Referral (email), Assigned To (Email), Created By (Email)

  • External Client ID, External Group ID

2.2 Advanced Filtering Features

  • Apply a Filter Multiple Times: E.g., filter by Relationship Partners field multiple times

  • AND/OR Logic: Now available for Companies as well.

  • Custom Field Filtering: Filter on custom fields like Date Time, Number, Date, Multi Select, Employee, Select, Text, Contacts, Currency, Companies, Employees (Countries and Rich Text not yet supported).

2.3 Use Cases Unlocked

  • Find contacts by education, event attendance, engagement, or relationship.

  • Identify recently created/updated contacts or companies.

  • Filter opportunities by external IDs or group associations.

4. Search and Sort

4.1 Search Logic

  • Contacts: First name, Last Name, Email, Company Name

  • Companies: Company Name, Domain

  • Opportunities: Title, Description, Associated Company Name, Tracking number

4.2 Sorting

Most columns are sortable, except for some complex fields (e.g., Industry Names, Tags, Key Contacts). See the full list in the source for details.

5. Edit and Read Only mode

By default the views are read only. You can change the filters, search and enable or disable the columns or rearrange the columns and changes will not be saved.

To edit the view, you can click on the Edit View button which will open the Edit state during which changes will be autosaved. This allows users to safely modify views when required but prevents accidental updates to views.

5. Bulk Actions

  • Bulk Add to List is available as a bulk action in Advanced Views.

6. Limitations & Future Plans

  • Two custom field types (Multicountries and Rich Text) are not yet filterable.

  • Summary bar for Opportunities are not yet available.
