Adding Workflows to Form Submissions
Are you feeling overwhelmed by the manual tasks involved in managing your events? With our new form workflows feature, you can now add workflows to form submissions, allowing you to perform powerful automations. This means you can save time and effort by automating tasks such as adding users to list and campaigns and creating tailored emails based on form submissions.
Follow up campaign workflow
Let's say you want to add users who have submitted forms to multiple campaigns. With our new feature, you can easily do so by creating a workflow for follow up campaign and adding a condition to trigger the workflow. For example, you can have follow up campaign for registration confirmation and event reminders sent to those who have registered for an event. To do that, simply create a workflow and set a condition to add users who have answered "YES" to an RSVP question.
But that's not all! You can also schedule emails to an internal audience to notify them about form submissions. This is perfect for keeping your team in the loop about who is attending an event and ensuring everyone is on the same page.
NOTE: Following conditions have to be met for follow up campaigns action to work:
Campaigns have to be in the same workspace as the form
Campaigns must be continuous sending enabled
Campaigns must be scheduled
NOTE: Manually adding users to lists
Follow up campaign will only be sent to users who are added via the form. Manually adding users to the list with the specified field set (example RSVP = Yes) will not send the campaign to the user. If you would like to send the campaign to the user, simply select the contact and click Add to Campaign. To add users in bulk, select all contacts that apply and click Add to Campaign.
NOTE: Follow up campaigns to existing contacts in the list before the form workflow is set
If a contact is already on a list with the right custom field value before the form workflow is set up, they won’t receive the follow-up campaign. The follow-up campaign will only go to contacts who submit the form after the workflow has been published.
Add to List workflow
Our new feature also allows you to automatically add users to additional lists on form submissions. This is perfect for managing events that may be overbooked or require approval before adding guests to the main list. You can easily add users to waiting lists or an approval list to review submissions before adding them to the main list.
NOTE: Workflow conditions can only be set for single select fields currently. We will expand this to include other fields in future releases
