Overview

You can now send campaigns to a filtered version of a contact list, allowing you to reach only the right contacts at the right time. This includes common scenarios like:

  • Sending reminder emails only to contacts whose RSVP is blank

  • Excluding respondents from follow-up campaigns

  • Ensuring all campaigns update dynamically based on real-time contact data

This feature removes manual steps and enables full automation for event and marketing workflows.

1. Create a campaign

  1. Go to your Workspace

  2. Create a campaign

  3. Set up your message content or email campaign by selecting a template to start with.

2. Select a recipient list

  1. In the Recipient List, click to select a list.

  2. Select preferred contact list

3. Apply filters (optional)

  1. Click Add Filter.

  2. Select filter criteria.

  3. Apply filter.

Examples:

  • RSVP → is blank

  • RSVP → equals → No

  • Added by → contains → "User's Name"

List Custom Fields

List custom fields only work with Select fields and List Member Added By field. If you wish to use this feature with any other type of fields, please submit an enhancement request

NOTE: When List Cleaning action is done, the whole list will be evaluated. However, for sending the campaign only the filtered version of contacts will be used.

4. Preview the final filtered list

Before scheduling, click Preview List to see:

  • Base list

  • Applied filters

  • Final contact count

This ensures visibility into exactly who will receive the campaign.

5. Schedule the campaign

At the scheduled send time:

  • The system re-evaluates the filters

  • Only contacts who match at that time receive the campaign

6. View results

Campaign reports will show:

  • The base list name

  • The filters applied

  • The number of matched contacts at send time
