  • Customization Options: Users can customize the invite with specific details like event title, date, time, duration, location, and description.

    • Location: The location of the event (physical address or virtual meeting link).

    • Timezone: The time zone the event is scheduled in.

How to embed the calendar link in your campaign:

Method 1: Hyperlinked Text:

  • Copy the calendar link.

  • Embed it within your email text (e.g., "Google").

Method 2: Button (Recommended): Use Engage button and link it to the copied link or ICS file (see the next section).

Method 3: HTML Block (Advanced):

  • Copy the HTML code from the calendar generator tool.

  • Paste the HTML code into the HTML block of your email campaign.

How to download the ICS file and embed it in your email campaign:

  1. Click the "Download ICS" button in the Calendar Link Generator tool.

  2. In the email campaign editor, create a new button.

  3. In the Button properties, under Action, click "Link File"

  4. Upload the downloaded ICS file to your Engage file manager.

  5. Click "insert".

  6. After you insert the ICS file, it will auto-populate the URL:

Apple Calendar

To add the event to Apple Calendar, embed the .ics file. Opening this file will automatically launch Apple Calendar and prompt the user to import the event.

Important Note for Webinar Links: The link should be added in the Location field of the calendar event. On both Outlook and Google Calendar, the link in the Location field is shown on the event preview, so it's important to add the link to the location field for better conversion.
