This article explains how Nexl now allows Office 365 users to view the underlying emails from within Nexl's activity feed.

One of the key benefits of Nexl is the automated capturing of contacts and companies you engage with. Without any manual data entry, Nexl offers you a place where you can turn your relationships into revenue.

Nexl can do this because it constantly syncs all your interactions (e-mails and meetings). The system, however, does not capture nor has access to the underlying information of those interactions in order to prevent the confidentiality and privileged nature of these communications.

For customers that are on Office 365 (Microsoft's cloud-based application) you can look up the underlying emails via a "deep link" in your Activity Feed that will open a web-based version of the email or meeting that has been synched and you have in your inbox.

As you can see in the screenshot above, there is a personalized link that will take you to the emails and meetings in your personal inbox and calendar. When you click on the link, the email is not displayed on Nexl itself but opens up in a separate window in your browser, where Office 365 will use its standard authentication protocols to assess whether you have access to the specific interaction.

It is vital to underline here that only you will be able to see emails you actually have in your own inbox. Office 365 authentication will allow you to see the email - but other users that were not part of that email thread or meeting will of course have no access to the underlying email. The cloud-based infrastructure of the Office 365 email service allows Nexl to offer this hyper-personal user experience, giving customers the opportunity to dive deeper into the latest interactions.
