We’ve upgraded Large List Views and Advanced Views across Contacts, Companies, Key Activities, and Opportunities to make it easier to see your data in the right format, act on it in bulk, and stay on top of pipeline and activity.

1. New Saved Views: Board, Calendar & Timeline

You can now create and switch between multiple view types on Large List Mode and save them as named views that persist across sessions.

What’s new

  • Create and save multiple named views per list

  • Switch between:

    • List – standard table

    • Board (Kanban) – column view grouped by a single-select field

    • Calendar – records plotted on a date

    • Timeline – records shown as horizontal bars across time

  • Views are available on:

    • Contact Lists

    • Company Lists

    • Key Activity Lists

    • Opportunity Lists

How it works

  • Click Views on a compatible list, then + New View

  • Give your view a name and choose a type:

    • List: no extra setup

    • Board: pick a single-select field to group by (e.g. Stage, Status, Priority)

    • Calendar: pick a date field

    • Timeline: choose a start date, optional end date, display title, and optional group-by field

2. Board (Kanban) View

Board view lets you manage records visually in columns instead of rows.

What it is

  • Items are grouped into columns based on a single-select field (e.g. Deal Stage, Relationship Status, Priority)

  • Each column shows:

    • Column name

    • Count of items in that column

How it works

  • Drag cards between columns to update the underlying field

  • Column colors come from the field’s option colors

  • Infinite scroll per column for large lists

  • Read-only lists still show cards, but without drag-and-drop

  • New: Board views now support full search and filtering, which is not available on client-side Kanban views

3. Calendar View (DEV-3313)

Calendar view shows records on a calendar based on a selected date field.

What it is

  • Plot items on a calendar using any date field

  • Great for:

    • Key activities by due date

    • Opportunities by close date

    • Contacts or companies by last interaction date

How it works

  • Switch between Month and Agenda views

  • Month view shows a limited preview of items per day

  • Navigate forward/backward by month

  • Honors all active filters and search:

    • Only matching items appear on the calendar

  • New: Calendar views now support search and filtering in serverside mode (not available on client-side Calendar views)

4. Timeline View

Timeline view helps you visualize records across a time range as horizontal bars.

What it is

  • Shows records as bars on a time axis

  • Ideal for:

    • Activity timelines

    • Opportunity or project phases

    • Time-bound programs

How it works

When creating a Timeline view, configure:

  • Start date (required): which datetime field anchors the left side

  • End date (optional): right side of the bar; if empty, the record appears as a point

  • Display title (required): which field shows as the bar label

  • Group by (optional): field used to create swimlanes (e.g. Owner, Team, Status)

Additional behavior:

  • Key Activity timelines support color-coding by activity category

  • Default view opens on the current week

  • New: Timeline View is now supported on all list types (previously only on Key Activity Lists)

5. Opportunity Status Summary Bar

Opportunity lists now include a status summary bar above the list.

What it is

  • A horizontal bar with one box per opportunity status

  • Each status box shows:

    • Status label

    • Count of opportunities in that status

    • Total proposed fee for that status

How it works

  • Click a status box to filter the list to that status

  • Click multiple boxes to stack filters (multi-status filter)

  • Click Total to clear filters and return to the full list

  • Uses a skeleton loading state so the layout stays stable while data loads

6. Bulk Actions on All View Types

Bulk actions are now available consistently across all advanced views.

What it is

  • Bulk actions supported on:

    • List view

    • Board view

    • Calendar view

    • Timeline view

  • Works in both Large and Advanced List Modes

What you can do

After selecting one or more records, you can:

  • Bulk Edit Custom Fields 🆕

  • Update Marketing Preferences 🆕

  • Add to List

  • Add Tags

  • Archive

  • Stay-in-Touch

  • Log New Activity

This brings full parity (and more) between Advanced Views and Legacy views

Bulk Edit Custom Fields and Update Marketing Preferences are behind role permissions and is enabled by default for Admins and Managers only

7. Company Lists: Full Filters & Default Columns (DEV-3362)
