Nexl allows Admins set up a permission which grants one user access to another user's Nexl account. We call this 'delegate access' (although you may have heard it referred to as 'proxy access' by other systems).
In this article, we'll go over how to log into another user's account once you've been granted delegate access - i.e. what to do once you have access to more than one Nexl account, and how to switch between the various accounts you're able to access.
If you're an Admin user who would like to learn more about how to configure delegate accesses, click here.
How do I know if I have a delegate access?
Once you've been assigned delegate access to at least one other account, you will see a colored banner appear at the top of the screen on your Nexl account. The banner will say 'You are logged in as [Your Name]', with a link that says 'switch account'.
How do I switch between accounts?
To log into another account, simply click the 'switch account' link in the banner.
Once you have clicked the link, you will be directed to a page that displays all the accounts to which you have been given delegate access.
You can use the pencil icon next to each account to change the color associated with it. This will change the color of the banner that displays while you are logged into the account. It is particularly helpful to have different colors associated with different accounts, as a visual signal to notify you of which account you're working with.
To log into a different account than your own, simply click on the name of the person's account that you would like to access.
Once you have done so, you will be returned to the previous screen as the user you have selected.
