Download Nexl for Lawyers and sign in with the same work account you use for Nexl on the web. There's no separate app password.
If you are setting up the Mobile app integration for the first time:
For Microsoft Intune-managed devices, it’s common that firms owners may require IT approval first before installing new apps, including Nexl. If this is the case for your firm, we recommend seeking approval from your internal IT team and sharing this article to provide an outline of the app’s capability and deployment instructions.
What you'll need
iOS 16.4 or later, or Android 8.0 or later.
An active Nexl user account at your firm.
Your work Microsoft, Google or SSO account.
Download the app
On iPhone, open the App Store. On Android, open Google Play. If your firm uses Microsoft Intune, open Company Portal instead.
Search for Nexl for Lawyers and install it.
If you still have the old Nexl app, keep it until your firm tells you to remove it. The new app doesn't replace it automatically.
Sign in
Open the app and enter your work email address.
Tap Log in. A sign-in page opens in your phone's browser, or in Microsoft Edge if your firm requires it.
Sign in with your work Microsoft, Google or SSO account.
If asked, enter the 6-digit code sent to your email. You only need this the first time, and some firms skip it.
When the app opens on Home, you're signed in.
Turn on notifications
Allow notifications when the app asks, so you get meeting reminders. If you skipped this, turn on notifications for Nexl for Lawyers in your phone's settings.
If something goes wrong
What you see | What to do |
Account not found after tapping Log in | Check you entered your work email. If it's correct, contact your Nexl administrator. Your firm's email domain may not be set up yet. |
Login Failed on the sign-in page | Check you can sign in to Nexl on the web. If you can't, contact your Nexl administrator. |
Microsoft Edge is required to log in | Install Microsoft Edge, sign in to it with your work account, then tap Try again. |
Microsoft says the sign-in is blocked | Contact your Nexl administrator. Your firm may require Microsoft Edge. |
Edge says "The application couldn't be opened" | Contact your IT team. Your firm's Intune setup isn't complete yet. |
You sign in, but the app stays on the login screen | Contact your Nexl administrator. |
AI Chat is missing | Ask your Nexl administrator if they have purchased the add-on plan and which features your firm has turned on. |
No meeting reminders | Turn on notifications for Nexl for Lawyers in your phone's settings. |
