Nexl's updated Outlook Add-In has undergone a redesign to make it even easier to use. With new icons and additional actions, you can now manage your contacts, lists, and opportunities even more efficiently. This Help Center article will explain the new features and how to use them.
Redesigned Icons: The updated Outlook Add-In features new icons that lead you to certain areas. These icons include new Tasks, Opportunities, and Meetings icons, with new tooltips to easily identify items related to a selected contact.
Additional Actions: In addition to the Create Opportunity and Create Tasks buttons, there are other actions accessible through the 3 dots icons. From here, you can:
Log new custom activities
Track outbound and inbound referrals
Add contacts and companies to lists
Edit or add to a contact record
How to Use It
To get the most of the new features of Nexl's updated Outlook Add-In, follow these tips and tricks:
Redesigned Icons: The new icons are located at the top of your add-in. Click on them to access the corresponding feature.
Hover Over Tooltips: You can now hover over tooltips on these icons to see if you have any open tasks, opportunities, or upcoming meetings related to the selected contact. Look for the blue dot on the corresponding icon to indicate that there is a task, opportunity, or meeting scheduled.
Additional Actions: You'll see two 3-dots icons in the new add-in—one underneath the name of the contact, and one next to the name of their company. To access the additional actions, simply click the 3 dots icon. For custom activities, referrals, contact lists, and contact editing, click the icon underneath the contact's name. To add a company to a list or view the corresponding company record, click the icon next to the company name.
